Local artist Ty Davis presents Anointed in Abstraction, an exhibition tracing the spiritual, emotional, and technical evolution of a Southern abstract painter rooted in truth and transformation. Known for his expressive use of bold color, Davis introduces a deeper dialogue in this new body of work—layering restrained palettes like Prussian Blue, Payne’s Grey, and Titan Buff alongside his signature vibrant tones. These paintings are not about style—they are about testimony. Cat Wondergem of Georgetown, SC, is currently consumed with printmaking. In her solo exhibition, Make it Make Sense ?!, she highlights her current linocut series done with oil-based ink and vivid watercolor on paper.
